I\u2019ve had a rocky road to where I am today, and I\u2019m sharing it with you in this short blog post.<\/p>\n<h2>A dream program<\/h2>\n<p>Upon graduating from high school, I was determined to go into medicine. To do so, I enrolled in health science. However, I quickly realized that I did not have a passion for this field. I questioned myself for a long time on my choice of a university program, taking into account my interests and passions. I have always been very good at math, and so when it was time to choose a university path, I chose a bachelor\u2019s degree in mathematics. After some thinking, I realized I didn\u2019t fit into this program and decided to quit.<\/p>\n<h2>A realistic program<\/h2>\n<p>The lack of interest I had in this program made me think about my ambitions. In choosing another university program, I took all of these reflections into consideration. I then decided to enroll in the Bachelor of Industrial Design (object design). After my first week, I knew right away I was in the right place, or at least on the right path. I also realized I had hated my higher education until that moment. In this program, I learned the basics of design, 3D modelling, drawing, etc. After one year, I came to the conclusion that it was not exactly the right program for me, as the drawing part was too demanding.<\/p>\n<h2>An ideal program<\/h2>\n<p>At that point, I decided to consult a guidance counsellor who strongly recommended that I go to college to study technology, such as multimedia integration and 3D animation. So, I enrolled in the multimedia integration technique. I loved this program from beginning to end. I had the chance to get to know the world of video games, programming, website and mobile application creation, video editing, photography and graphic design. In my last semester, I had to choose an internship in a company to complete my training.<\/p>\n<h2>From school to reality<\/h2>\n<p>I had a very disorganized first internship experience, and I made the decision to quit to look for another internship. That\u2019s when I came across the Middle\u2019s internship offer for a Graphic Designer. When I arrived, I immediately felt at ease and knew I would fit in with the team. This proved to be true, as, after my internship period, I was hired as a full-time Graphic Designer.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, I can truly say that I found the job and work environment I always dreamed of, with inspiring and dedicated women, through a program that really suited me.
